When people pay for your service they expect a certain level of care and attention. When we give a service and product we expect a certain level of care and respect in return. What we want is open communication on both sides, but sometimes the communication is too direct and comes across as demanding. It doesn’t matter whether you are the giving or receiving end of a situation. Consider expressing your needs delicately. If you have a client, think about whether you want to retain them and whether they have the capability of sending you referrals. Treating people well means more business comes your way in the long run.
